It’s been a busy month. To think, exactly one month ago today I was making my way to a music festival & this past weekend we spent time at the mom-in-laws ranch in Santa Ynez for a little mother’s day wine tasting action. Because we are always on the go in the summer, I like to keep my packing super light & easy which is why I instantly snatched up this shirt dress from Express. I love this dress because not only did it not wrinkle on the 2 hour drive up to the ranch, but it was easy to transition into the cool summer evening by tossing a denim jacket over it.
Thank you for being the best Mom in the whole world. For always scratching my back and telling me stories when I couldn’t fall asleep. For teaching me good manners & what is right & wrong. Thank you for always being the Mom who drove all the kids to the school dances & let us sing at the top of our lungs like we were Trisha Yearwood. And thank you for continuing to teach me the larger lessons in life.
