We’ve all been there: Standing in front of our closet freaking over what to wear {naturally, at the absolute last second before we’re supposed to be somewhere}. Last month it was all about beach weddings and this month I’m all about weddings in wine country! This dress is not only named after California but it’s perfect for a vineyard wedding affair & lucky for me I have the Could I Have That? wedding just around the corner {P.S Sam, this is what I’m wearing to your wedding, ha!}. It’s been a busy month. To think, exactly one month ago today I was making my way to a music festival & this past weekend we spent time at the mom-in-laws ranch in Santa Ynez for a little mother’s day wine tasting action. Because we are always on the go in the summer, I like to keep my packing super light & easy which is why I instantly snatched up this shirt dress from Express. I love this dress because not only did it not wrinkle on the 2 hour drive up to the ranch, but it was easy to transition into the cool summer evening by tossing a denim jacket over it.

It’s been almost a year since I’ve been able to wear my favorite wardrobe staple and since things are starting to heat up around Los Angeles, I can finally bust out {…wait for it…} leather shorts! When 7 For All Mankind wanted to see how I like to style these leather-like shorts, the opportunities were endless!

Whether I’m downplaying the style with a chambray shirt or, like last year, feeling an easy t-shirt with cargo jacket look, you will hereby find me living & breathing in my favorite shorts.
